I don't believe its time for me to get a new horse as said horse has so much to teach me its just the matter of getting there i believe.
So does anyone have any reccomendations on Riding Instructors in Sourthern Tasmania. Taking into account i can't take my own horse to every lesson at the moment.

Whilst he spent most of his days as a paddock ornament I loved his cuddles and quiet company. I shall never forget the mad mens attempt at plowing the potatoe paddock with Jolly in front of the plough and I wish him peace and green pastures on the other side.
Rest In Peace Jolly boy, you were loved and will be missed.

Although the worst can be thought, try to think of it as a way to progress. Feel free to contact me if you need anything at all. Molly is very sweet & a gem at that but the scans will give the further information needed to help her. Chin up & try to rest =)
Helen
You wont need antihistamines if puppy jackson comes. There wont be a cat within a 100km radius.

Is puppy Jackson an account for your dog Helen? I drive a two door Echo... if he can fit, he can come. I hope he's toilet trained! (Note: if puppy Jackson is an actual person, I apologise for referring to you as a dog.)

I think if it was ok for Jackson to come up for the drive Helen would offer to bring her 4wd and for you to take it onto your client, thats what she mentioned on chat, if this suited you.?

Yes, that is correct Leah. Of course if anyone else needs a ride, I think Jackson might stay home.

I have taught myself to pull my car apart & put it back together if anything goes wrong while away (which touch wood I haven't had the need to do so) but with a different car I wouldn't know how. Helen, I don't mind if you & Jackson head up in your car. I just seem to remember in previous conversations you're unable to drive long distances comfortably so I thought I could offer assistance.

I sad when things like that happen and you think you sold them to a great home but turns out it isn't as good as you thought.
I was thinking Jenny also Nan, think she is actually riding the 160 km Endurance here this weekend, will suss out the entries..
Also, just a little interesting about Rosies outcome, I am so glad I finally after months of waiting for the wall seperation or parting of the wall as others may know it, of her hooves, glad I listened to all opinions and not the vet,
I was able to ride her straight away and not the 9 months the vet said, after 3 sets of shoes and regular trims this is now completly gone, as has catcha's seedy toe that was taking alot longer otherwise..
Hopefully after a while these horses can return to no shoes, if not hopefully something will be developed shoe wise that is abit more shock absorbent..... moreI was thinking Jenny also Nan, think she is actually riding the 160 km Endurance here this weekend, will suss out the entries..

At the vet ring the last ride it was very interesting to see a horse that has been shod in aluminium shoes for a few years, the guy shoeing ran out of these and put on the traditional shoe and there was a huge change in the horse running out infront of the vets and had to represent..
Probably not that in... less
A person who may be able to input in this area is Jenny Ford, as she always rides her "endurance" rides barefoot and has done for 10 years!!!

*just an idea! :-)
Ok :-) those rates are for feral horses yes? Has there been any research for equivalent eg barefoot endurance? Because while we are referring to the feral horse model we are trying to see how it applies to Domestic horses?
